KaarbonTech is a data and software company, managing highway assets for local authorities across the country. We use innovative smart devices and cloud technology for efficient and collaborative working, making real improvements to our customers’ maintenance programmes. Our innovative tree management software combines with bespoke services that we provide to the private arboriculture sector and over 45% of the local government sector, streamlining the way tree stocks are managed.

We are looking to recruit talented arboriculture surveyors to join our growing team, surveying highways tree stocks for our local authority clients.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Level 3 or higher in Arboriculture or an associated discipline

• LANTRA Professional Tree Inspector qualification

• QTRA training and membership

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong tree identification and inspection experience

• Knowledge and understanding of BS 5837 and BS 3998

• Demonstrable experience of using industry standard software, such as GIS-based software

• Experience using such software for tree mapping and assessment

• Comfortable working independently as well as within a team

• Highly motivated with a positive approach to work

• Full clean driving licence and own vehicle (company vehicle may be supplied if required)

You will be joining a growing business and can expect a challenging and rewarding position. You will work closely with colleagues, customers and contractors, ensuring all work is completed to the highest possible standards and within given time and budget constraints.

Your role will be to conduct an inventory survey of highways trees. Successful candidates will have experience of conducting tree inspections to LANTRA PTI standards and experience of surveying on the highway.
